About me …

David SheetsForty years of news journalism, product marketing, and public relations taught me how to write, edit, manage content, and manage people.

So I help others with their writing, editing, and marketing needs because everyone needs to communicate but not everyone knows how. To that end, I have written and edited at nine different newspapers, ending with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and managed communications and public relations for Perficient, the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000 and enterprise customers throughout North America.

Besides serving the corporate sector, I also serve the public in numerous volunteer roles — as vice president of the Grafton, Ill., Chamber of Commerce and Town Committeeman for the City of Grafton; as a member of the Pacific Plains region of the International Association of Business Communicators, which strives to advance professional standards in business and the American Copy Editors Society.

Also, I have served as an adjunct journalism professor at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Ill., and I have volunteered to advise journalism students for The Journal student newspaper at Webster University.
